The Competitor Insight Agent helps you gain a competitive edge by surfacing detailed intelligence about rival companies. It highlights weaknesses such as leadership turnover, employee dissatisfaction, and operational gaps, while contrasting your client’s strengths. This allows you to position your client as the more stable, rewarding, and attractive opportunity during executive pitches or recruitment outreach.
With just a website or LinkedIn link, you can generate a competitor analysis tailored for executive search and headhunting strategies.
1. Enter Competitor Company Information
Choose how you’d like to input the competitor company details:
Option 1: Select Company Website and paste the official website URL.
Option 2: Select Company LinkedIn Profile Link and paste the company’s LinkedIn page URL.
Tip: If only a website is provided, the agent will automatically identify the LinkedIn profile and other sources.
2. Choose Sharing Preference
Turn the Share with Others switch on if you want teammates to access the results.
Leave it off if the analysis is only for your use.
3. Run the Agent
Click Run With Leo.
You’ll see a waiting message:
“ Hang tight! One of our smart agents is on the job and processing your request right now.”
4. View Competitor Insights
Once complete, you’ll see a success message:
“ Success! Everything’s ready, take a look at your results.”
The competitor report will now be available, showing insights such as leadership structure, employee turnover signals, hiring activity, strengths, weaknesses, and recommended headhunting angles.
The Competitor Insight Agent provides:
Company profile: website, industry, size, stage, locations
Leadership: up to 5 verifiable functional leaders (VPs, Directors, Heads of Departments)
Strengths & weaknesses: strategic gaps, employee dissatisfaction, customer complaints
Hiring signals: open roles, functions expanding, turnover indications
Recent changes: leadership exits, restructuring, funding events
Headhunting angles: targeted pitch ideas tailored for attracting leaders away from the competitor
At the end of each competitor report, you’ll see a Run Company Insight Agent button.
Clicking this will open the Run Comapany Insight Agent screen (see details in the Company Insight Agent article).
If multiple competitors are listed, you’ll also see a Run Company Insight Agent button at the end of the full results of each company, allowing you to search all listed competitors at once for that particular company.
Run Head Hunting Agent: A Run Head Hunting Agent button connects directly to the Head Hunting Agent, helping you quickly Add that company as a competitor company.
If no competitors are found, the button will not appear.
An Export to PDF button to easily download the report.
