The Sourcing Agent is your AI-powered helper that automatically searches for the best candidates for your open jobs. Instead of spending hours on multiple platforms, you can set up the agent once, and it will find profiles from your database, the web, competitor companies, referrals, and even social media.

How to Use the Sourcing Agent

  1. Open the Sourcing Agent
Go to Agent Screen → Sourcing Agent.

  2. Choose the Job

    • Select the active job you want to source candidates for (required).

  3. Select Sourcing Options

    • Search in Database  Finds matching candidates from your own system.

    • Search on Web  Finds candidates from LinkedIn, GitHub, StackOverflow, etc.

    • Search Competitor Companies  Target people working at competitor firms.

Use Get with AI to let the system suggest competitor names automatically.
(Note: The character limit for competitor input is 70, both for manual entry and when using Get with AI.)

    • Advanced Controls & Validation → Added options to store unmatched candidates into your candidate database so you don't miss any sourced resumes. Also, now you have better control to deal with duplicate candidates.

Note: By default, the criteria are taken from the Import Resume form, and the “Store Unmatched Candidates” switch is turned on by default.

    • Run Referral Campaign → Ask people in your network to refer candidates.

      • Choose to send via Mass Email or Connected Email.

      • Add a referral bonus amount (optional).

  4. Run the Agent

    • Click Run Agent.

    • When you click Run Agent, the system will first ask for confirmation before starting.

    • If you click Yes  The agent will start running in the background and you’ll get a notification once the task is complete.

    • If you click No  The agent will not run, and no actions will be taken.

What Happens Next

The agent works in the background and finds candidates.

Once finished, you’ll get a notification:
Agent sourcing in progress. Check the Candidates tab under the Job dialog for updates.

Results will appear in the History tab with the status marked as Completed.

After each run, users can view the total candidates sourced (excluding rejected) and directly access them via a new “View Sourced Candidates” button.

Where the Agent Searches

The agent looks across multiple sources to give you the best results:

  • Your Database → Finds past applicants and passive talent.

  • The Web → Uses smart search to find profiles on platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Dribbble, and more.

  • Competitor Companies → Suggests and searches for talent at competitor firms.

  • Referral Campaigns → Reaches out to your network to bring in referrals.

  • Social Media → Publishes jobs to your connected social accounts.

Important Notes

  • You can run up to 3 sourcing agents per domain.

  • Each campaign can include up to 2 job titles.

  • If you choose Connected Email but haven’t linked your account, you’ll see:
“Please connect your email account in Profile Settings.”
